I really should eat an apple a day. I was at my grandparent's house quite a bit, growing up, and there was a large apple tree in the corner of the yard. From that tree I ate many a ripe and unripe apple. As I got older, I grew less interested in eating fruit, but I am working to change that habit. Apple types I prefer are Gala, Granny Smith, and Honeycrisp. Skins on, please.
Ways I like apples:
1. Cut up with salt
2. Cut up with peanut butter (and salt optional)
3. Cored with a bit of butter, sugar and raisins inserted in the middle and heated in the microwave.
4. In a pie or turnover
5. In chicken salad
6. Homemade apple cider/punch
7. With sushi
Apples are tart,
And apples are sweet,
Apples are something,
I need to eat.
Apples are red, yellow and green,
Apples are better eaten, not seen.

Apples are nice, I'm not quite a fruit person like I used to be.
